I’ve got the rainy-day blues, mostly because I hear reports of snow in the north and I am jealous! We have not had a snow day here in years and years, and I’m ready for one! (Cue all my northern peeps calling me crazy in 3…2…1…)

Here, however, it’s just cold, gray drizzle. Just enough to make my hair do awful things! And produce a sore throat in the course of a single commute! And I’m going to a nice dinner tonight! Pulled out the LBS (little black skirt) and everything! Argh. The big question is, do I need to go over to The Firm to pry GW out of his office and over to Zaytinya? (And if I do go over to The Firm, wouldn’t I just get sucked into visiting with AB and/or Liebling, thus only setting a bad example for GW?) Or can he be relied upon to show up on time? Perhaps a nagging phone call will suffice? We love him, but he sure is pokey.
Exciting dining news has reached my ears about new eats in the ‘hood though…a new sandwich shop opens tomorrow! I will have to check it out and give y’all a review. Now, if only we could convince those fine Merlindians to come over to our side of town more often! We need more to look forward to than just Taco Tuesday around here!
