Chronic (what?) cles of Narnia!
Hilarious. Literally, one of the funniest things I’ve seen in my entire life. Watch it, you’ll crack up!
Also, the movie rocks. I don’t care what anyone says. They got that first trip through the wardrobe RIGHT and that really leads to book fans being predisposed to enjoy the rest of the film.
On seeing a TV spot, Nicole noted that she thought the CGI looked bad, but I would differ. Narnia was one of those CG-movies which really works well on the silver screen but not so much on a television. This happens all the time — the new Star Wars movies are a great case in point. I suppose if you had an all-digital HDTV it would look different (better? worse? I don’t know) but most people don’t have those! Plus maybe it’s something about the transfer from digital (cg? digital recording? i don’t know how LWW was made) to actual prints of film for projection. I know I did not see Narnia in a digital theatre.
Anyhow let’s also remember that it’s largely a kid’s movie and so it doesn’t have to be any better than your hi-end video games as far as CG quality goes as that is what they are most used to seeing. IMHO!
