Would all those young liberal bloggers I often spend time reading on the way home from work, PLEASE STOP complaining about how the Senate “over-represents” small states?! It is SUPPOSED TO DO THAT. It ensures that the people in SD have as much voice as the people in VA. Since, you know, the people in VA have MORE REPS IN THE HOUSE.
And also PLEASE STOP complaining about how the 2-party system and term limits are so awful and “we should just be able to get rid of the gov’t whenever we want to”. I felt like that too, but I was in SEVENTH GRADE. If you really want a parliamentary system so badly, move somewhere that has it, or else start agitating for an amendment. Please don’t just whine about it.
